PSYCHIC SALAMANDER festival 2025
September 13 + 14 / Remlinger Farms
Art Market Vending Times: 12:30pm – 7:00pm
Food Vending Times: 12:30pm – 8:30pm
Load-in: 8:00am – 12:00pm Saturday, September 13
Load-out: after patrons have left festival grounds on Sunday, September 14
Overnight security will be provided
This is an OUTDOOR event

Current Washington state business license. Out-of-state vendors can get a temporary license
10x10 or 10x20 canopy (if not rented through festival)
(4) 50lb weights/ballast, one for each tent leg (if not rented through festival)
Tie line / bungee cord to attach to ballast

Food vendors will also need to supply:
A copy of their temporary food service permits, to have on hand for the Health Inspector.

Ground tarp / flooring if vending from a booth instead of a truck

All booths must be neat and tidy.
There is NO storage behind your booth.
Sidewalls are highly encouraged as the wind can pick up at random times.
Each tent leg must have (1) 50lb weight attached. You will need a total of (4) 50lb tent weights. We want to avoid
Awnings are allowed but cannot block your neighboring vendors.
Any clothing racks, shelving, or signage blocking visibility to your neighbor will need to be relocated closer to your booth.
You are required to leave your space as you found it. Please remove your trash. If you don’t leave your area clean, you will be charged an additional clean-up fee of $250.
THING will provide a 10x10 (or 10x20) space
THING will provide 1 parking spot per booth space
THING will provide four (4) vendor wristbands per booth - helpers are encouraged.

(1) Table for $18 includes two chairs; tables are 6’ long x 18” wide
(4) Concrete bucket/ballast 100lbs for $28

No, you are not required to be available for all show dates. The application will give you to opportunity to select any and all dates you are available to vend.

No. We wish for a wide variety of vendors throughout the event, with a thoughtful curation for each day. If you are chosen to vend, we will communicate to you which day(s) you will be onsite.

Whether you’ve vended with us for past festivals or are a newcomer, we’re eager to see your art! This is your opportunity to present your work to our jury, so please ensure that it represents the best you have to offer.

We’re delighted to welcome you to share a booth with a friend.
Each of you will need to fill out an application individually. If both applications are accepted, we’ll divide the booth payment between you.

We are committed to your success and prioritize the quality and balance of our market. To achieve this, our team will carefully review each application, assessing factors such as originality, aesthetic appeal, marketability, general appeal, and pricing. Additionally, we aim to maintain variety by ensuring we don't have an overabundance of similar items or vendors.
Rest assured; your application will be securely stored in our database no matter how early you apply. When the time comes for the jurying process, we'll organize all applications by category and review them consecutively.

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to provide personalized feedback to each applicant.

A business license is required for all businesses operating in Carnation. If you don't have one but would like to apply for one, all info you need can be found

If you are accepted to be a vendor and later cannot participate, we will refund your booth fee in full, providing you let us know six weeks before the show date you are scheduled to vend. A penalty of $50 will be applied to dropouts that happen within four weeks of your show date. We encourage you to carefully consider your ability to vend before committing to the event.

If you are in need of lodging between load-in/load-out, Carnation and the surrounding area hosts some lovely hotels, Airbnb & Vrbo. There is also camping at Tolt MacDonald Park and Campground, 31020 NE 40th St, Carnation (Located about half a mile from Remlinger Farms) These sites are first-come, first-served, and can be booked through the state park
Carnation is a popular tourist destination, and campgrounds fill up quickly, so please make a reservation as soon as possible once you've been approved to vend.

Unfortunately, because Remlinger Farms is family run, you will be unable to stay on the grounds at your booth. We will have security monitor the site 24 hours a day while are occupying the space.

We will do our best to have WIFI access available onsite, but please come prepared with a personal hotspot, as even with our best efforts, the WIFI can be spotty.

The festival will not have change available onsite. Please come prepared with the change you will need for the weekend.

Yes, there will be parking for vendors. Each vendor will receive (1) parking pass with their booth space. This space is suitable for one vehicle OR one vehicle with a trailer. If you have more than one vehicle, extra parking is available offsite at a nearby location that is walkable or accessible by shuttle.

Load-in will occur ON show dates (Saturday, 9/13 & Sunday, 9/14) from 8am – 12pm. All vendors MUST be loaded in before 12pm. If you arrive after this time, you will need to handcart your product from offsite.
Load-out is following the end of the festival after all patrons have left the grounds, or the following Monday morning, 9am – 1pm.
This means that if the last band ends at 11pm, you must wait until egress ends to drive onto the site and load-out. You are allowed to handcart your product to the parking area before the show ends if you want a head start!

You will receive your vendor wristbands and parking pass when you arrive at Remlinger Farms during load-in. Your vendor coordinator will have these packets for you. The packets will contain Four (4) Vendor Wristbands and One (1) Parking Pass. Do not lose these!

Yes, your Vendor Wristband will also give you access to all the fun! Programming for bands and special events is 1:30pm – 10:00pm.
We ask that all vendors participating be open for the designated hours:
12:30pm - 7:00pm for artists/maker
12:30pm - 8:30pm for food vendors
